Undefeated Pine Bush faces undefeated Monroe-Woodbury

CENTRAL VALLEY — The Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders face Pine Bush at home Friday evening in Central Valley in a contest of undefeated varsity football programs.
The Crusaders dispatched Middletown last weekend, scoring 34 points, while surrendering 10 to the Middies.
Through its four victories, Monroe-Woodbury has scored an average of 36 points per game (144 total points) while holding their opponents to less than 13 points per contest (49 total points allowed).
Pine Bush also enters the game at 4-0, having defeated Kingston last week by a score of 49-14. Pine Bush completed a single pass for 34 yards against Kingston, but eight runners rushed 57 times for a total of 449 yards on the ground.
Pine Bush has scored 173 in its first four games. That’s an average of more than 43 points per game. At the same time, the Pine Bush gives up less than 10 points per game (38 total points allowed).
