N.Y. Bulls to play at Skylands Park

    WARWICK-The New York Bulls, Warwick's 13U travel baseball team, start the second half of their fall season with a game Saturday, Oct. 1, at Skylands Park in Sussex County, N.J. The Bulls bring a 6-0 record in the Cerbo Baseball League new 13's All Star Division into the contest against North Caldwell, N.J. The game starts at noon. Admission to the game is free. The Bulls have outscored the opposition 55 to 10 over the first six games, including a classic 7-6 victory over the Hudson Valley Hurricanes two weeks ago. The pitching has been led by the Tommy Delaney, Christian Graven and Nick Gurda. Offensive contributions have come up and down the line-up from third basemen Kyle Morgan and Matt D'Ercole along with outfielders Sean Prell, Michael Balacco and Alex Capiaghi. The defense has been solidified up the middle by SS/CF Jimmy Cattani and second basemen Vincent Ercolino. Skylands Park, located at 94 Championship Place in Augusta, N.J, is the home of the New Jersey Cardinals, the Single A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals in the New York-Penn League.
