WARWICK — Nirvana Legacy, a girls under-14 soccer team, won its second game of the season in the President’s league, a premier soccer league.

Representing East Hudson, Legacy went undefeated in the fall season to move into the more challenging league, playing teams from Brooklyn, Long Island, Westchester and Albany.

This past weekend Legacy girls defeated FC Westchester Elite in White Plains on a goal scored by Maegan Villa of Washingtonville. She was assisted by Anna Delaney of Monroe.

Legacy represents towns from all across lower New York state, including Washingtonville, Monroe, Warwick, Newburgh, Ellenville, Red Hook, Fishkill, Pine Bush and Hopewell Junction. The team is coached by Bobby Czumak.

Legacy’s first game in the new league was against the Brooklyn Patriots Lioness, which also resulted in a win. The team’s next game will be a home game against the Rockville Centre Racers of Long Island.
