The Crusaders opened the 2012 football season with 38-26 victory over Binghamton last Friday evening. Running back Mark Tooma scored three times, twice behind M-W’s formidable offensive line and then on long kickoff return. Quarterback Kevin Carr ran for more than 200 yards and a touchdown and passed for another 102 yards and a score to Kenny Fee. Monroe-Woodbury plays Saturday night in White Plains again Archbishop Stepinac High School, for whom head Coach Bernie Connolly played and coached.
