YORKTOWN — On Monday, Sept. 11, the Crusaders traveled to Yorktown High School to take on the Huskers, the game being the third of four consecutive away games to start the season.
This year's Crusader team is not a physically big team, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up with heart.
For the third game in a row, the Crusaders got into a very physical game as if the other teams see their size and think they can overpower them.
But the Crusaders' speed and chemistry makes them very hard to handle.
The two teams battled for 80 minutes of regulation play with no score and then battled in overtime for an another 20 before the game end in a 0-0 tie.
The tie brings their season record to 2-0-1. Their next game was on Wednesday at Goshen High School against the Gladiators.
