M-W Boys fourth at Paul Short Cross Country meet



BETHLEHEM, PA. — Running without two varsity members sidelined for injuries, the Monroe-Woodbury Boys Cross Country team finished fourth out of 41 schools in the Paul Short Invitational at Lehigh University on Saturday, Sept. 29.
The Crusaders started well and were in a strong position at one mile with a 27 second spread from one through five runners.
However, they could not maintain the tight positioning and faded to a 83-second spread at the end of the race, missing the third-place team title by one point to Chaminade Catholic High School of Long Island.
Three Crusaders earned awards: Andrew Yi with a 13th place finish, followed by Keith Allen (20) and Dan Hynes (23).
