Games and sports fundraiser on Sunday for girl with cancer

FLORIDA — A fund raiser to help an 11-year-old girl with a rare form of bone cancer will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18, at PrimoSports, located at 1741 Route 17A in Florida.
All proceeds will benefit the family of Julianna Edel, a sixth grader at Monroe-Woodbury.
"PrimoSports would like to ask the community to come together and help the Edel family during this trying time for Julianna," said a press release issued by the sports center. "Whether attending the event with your family or volunteering your time, making a food tray, or donating a raffle basket, your support is all we ask."
The family-oriented day include sgames and sports on the facility's three turf fields and basketball/volleyball court, including soccer, dodgeball, kickball, whiffle ball, basketball, lacrosse, flag football, and backyard games. A magician will entertain. Other highlights include face painting, raffle baskets, 50/50 raffles, food concessions, music and dancing.
