POMONA — The Orange County Smash, a Monroe-based travel baseball program for 5- to 8-year-olds, attended the Rockland Boulders' game on Saturday, June 2, at Palisades Credit Union Park in Pomona.
The OC Smash players competed on Boulders' field in a baseball game, a skills competitions and in a home run derby.
The excitement on the players' faces, one coach said, was priceless.
The team has been training since last July and plans to focus on the development of it players in a fun atmosphere to promote a passion and love for the game.
