Two Monroe-Woodbury United Soccer clubs had successful campaigns at last weekend’s East Fishkill Memorial Day Tournament:
MWUSC U10 Warriors
The Warriors entered the third game of the tournament having one win and one tie.
It came down to goal differential in game three to determine the tournament winner.
The Warriors battled through sub-50 degree weather and freezing rain to shut out their opponent and be crowned champions.
The Warriors are coached by Mike DeGiglio, Brendan Mullan and Pete Magazino.
MWUSC U11 Renegades
The Renegades left it all out on the field as they fought through cold temperatures and rain.
They won two out of three games to finish runners up and take home second place in the tournament.
