CENTRAL VALLEY — Brandon Adams, a member of the Monroe-Woodbury Boys Varsity Basketball Team coached by Dave Powers, is the school's “Athlete of the Week” for the period ending Dec. 15.
Brandon scored a game-high 20 points along with five rebounds, three steals and two assists in the team's win over Minisink Valley 61-41 on Dec. 7.
Brandon is a co-captain of this year’s team and has been a varsity player for the past three years.
His coach describes him as an unselfish player who leads by his solid work ethic and example.
