Blue Thunder advance in state tournament

The Monroe-Woodbury Girl’s U13 travel soccer team, Blue Thunder, have advanced to the quarter finals of the New York State Cup after defeating a tough FC Westchester team. The quarter finals are scheduled to begin May 12. The Blue Thunder is coached by John Duffell, Rich Molino and Brian Varley. Players are Caroline, Gracie, Maddie, Bella, Gina, Sydney, Kiki, Brianna, Kerry, Gabrielle, Alex, Greer, Courtney, Jenna, Willow, Gabbie, Naya and Kiersten.
