Snow creatures grow in Monroe

Monroe - The snowman-making contest at Smith’s Clove Park drew a small but creative crowd last Sunday. Park Director Joe Mancuso supplied the colored water and spray bottles, Mother Nature provided the snow and the participants provided the boots, scarves and imagination. Like sand castles, snowmen are a celebration of the moment that will soon fade. Here’s a sample of some of that wonderment, thanks to the lens of photographer Kristina Stelz.
