Scibelli installed as head of realtors association

CENTRAL VALLEY — Chris Scibelli, broker of Keller Williams Realty in Central Valley and Goshen, was installed as the president of the Orange County Association of Realtors during the installation dinner recently held at the Inn at Central Valley. Scibelli outlined the top ten initiatives for 2008: 1. A new name for the association with a more regional appeal. 2. On-line voting. 3. Young leadership academy, 35 under 35 program. 4. Top producer summits and panels. 5. Broker-member quarterly roundtables. 6. Association/Realtor branding campaign. 7. Public access to OCAR’s Web site. 8. Growing our membership to beyond our borders and focus on regionalization. 9. Establish the first commercial industrial division. 10. Improving the communication. “After 30 years in this business I’ve learned a few things,” Scibelli said. “My message is simple: Surround yourself with the ones that you love. Surround yourself with those that inspire you.
