Ralph Caruso ‘will do the job'

To the editor: I am writing this letter in support of Ralph Caruso, for Orange County legislator, District 14. I have known Ralph for more than 30 years and have served with him on the Woodbury Town Board for four years. He was a dedicated, honest and caring councilman who thoroughly researched all items on the agenda and always voting in the best interest of his constituents. Orange County Legislative District 14 needs someone to represent us on the county level, someone to get us more revenue and reduce property taxes. Woodbury should be getting a lot more revenue from the sales taxes generated from Woodbury Common, and Ralph is the person that can make it happen. Every politician has said they would do something about this, but haven’t. Taxes are forcing seniors out of their homes in Woodbury and Highlands and no one seems to care. Ralph would push at the county level for seniors, his voice would be heard and the seniors will know he’s listening to their concerns, acting and working in their behalf in Goshen for them. There are a lot of grants we could be getting and Ralph will help us get them. He will work with the Woodbury and Highlands town boards to get us what we need to help our economy. Electing Ralph Caruso as Orange County legislator will give all the people peace of mind that someone is working for us in Goshen.
