Purdy won't "let someone else do it"

To the editor: As a senior myself, I applaud Bob Purdy for his dedication to the people of Monroe. At a time in his life when others sit back and say "let someone else do it," Bob Purdy has stepped forward to lead Monroe into the future. It's unfortunate that his opponents have to resort to personal attacks against his character. However, Mr. Purdy continues to address the issues and not lose sight of what this election is all about - making Monroe a better place to live. I plan on voting on primary day and I plan on voting for Bob Purdy. Mrs. Terri D'Aiello Monroe
