Purdy "has discussed issues facing Monroe

To the editor: I have been reading The Photo News for years. Unfortunately, I realize that politics can get dirty. I am still amazed at the vicious personal attacks by both the Democrats and the Republicans directed against their primary challengers Mr. Purdy, (Democrat), and Mrs. Parella and Mrs. Budich (Republicans). As a Democrat I have been totally disgusted. I will support Mr. Purdy in the primary. He has discussed issues that face Monroe and they're what I'm interested in. Hedy Aloia Monroe
