Purcell: ‘This is election is about you'

To the editor: By now many of you are aware I, James Purcell, am running for Village of Monroe trustee along with mayoral candidate Jeff Peifer and trustee candidate Wayne Chan. We have knocked on many doors and listened too many of your concerns. As a resident for 15 years, being a father of two elementary school-aged children, along with my wife, Debbie, I, too, feel the same concerns about issued raised in this campaign. Jeff Peifer, Wayne Chan and I, along with the existing Board of Trustees, will work tirelessly to achieve our goals. This campaign is not about us, our past achievements or anyone’s egos. This campaign is about you, the village residents who put their trust and hope that we as elected officials will represent them honorably and professionally.
