Purcell holds himself to a higher standard
To the editor: I would like to take a moment to describe why I feel that the position of trustee for the village of Monroe should be filled by my friend, James Purcell. Jim and I have been great friends since I moved into Monroe nine years ago and he has always held a great pride in this community. He holds himself to a higher standard than most and I believe will carry that with him into the position of trustee. He will certainly strive tirelessly to achieve any of the goals set forth to himself and with the rest of the elected officials of the Village of Monroe it will only benefit positively for us, the residents. Though I do not personally know the mayoral candidate, Jeff Peifer, or Wayne Chan, the second trustee candidate, I could only assume that if Jim Purcell would chose to align himself with these men that they must be great community-minded individuals.
