Program to focus on financial and estate planning

    Newburgh — Protecting lifestyles and assets both now and into retirement, considerations for long-term care insurance, and providing for loved ones and charities while minimizing taxes are among the topics to be covered in a program at Mount Saint Mary College on Wednesday, June 1 in Aquinas Hall. Registration is from 5 to 5:30 p.m., followed by the panel discussion from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and reception with the speakers from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Featured speakers for the program are attorney Mark Stern, financial advisor Edie Haughney, long-term care spokesperson and 1976 Olympic Gold Medalist Wendy Boglioli. Karen VanHouten Minogue, executive director of the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, will serve as moderator. The complimentary event, which is open to the greater Mid-Hudson community, is co-hosted by the college and the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan.
