Pine tree students provide holiday cheer with hand-made cards

Students from Pine Tree Elementary School made holiday cards for family members of Pine Tree students and staff stationed in the military and away for the holidays to let them know they are being remembered during the Christmas season. Fourth-graders Grace Vardicapane, left, and Sabrina Kaplan were among the students making cards. “The soldiers are risking their lives for us so they won’t be able to come home for the holidays and spend time with their families,” said Grace. Added Sabrina: “When I was doing the cards, I was happy because I want the soldiers to have a good holiday.”
