Photographer Nick Zungoli to host master class at SUNY Orange on Nov. 15

Middletown - Internationally recognized photographer Nick Zungoli of Sugar Loaf will present a master class titled “Color Photography Primer” on Monday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m. in the Harriman Hall Theatre on the campus of SUNY Orange in Middletown. The program is free and open to the public and no registration is required. Zungoli will discuss how to make the most of a digital camera and create publishable quality images by learning basic color management techniques. He will explain the details on how to take control of color from the moment the shutter is pressed to the end reproduction. Q & A will follow the presentation, and take-home handouts will be available. In addition, his explanations will be demonstrated through a slide show of his landscape and travel photography. Zungoli’s works are collected near and far by famous and ordinary people because of their broad appeal. He has been a contributor to National Geographic Magazine, The New York Times, and Sierra Magazine, and has produced numerous exhibitions and books from his extensive travels. His studio is Exposures Gallery, located in the art and craft hamlet of Sugar Loaf. Harriman Hall is located at the corner of Wawayanda and East Conkling avenues in Middletown.
