Petty officer qualifies as nuclear operator

Highland Mills — Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Brian C. Mulvey, son of Carol Mulvey of Highland Mills, recently completed Naval Nuclear Power Training in Ballston Spa, N.Y. During the course, Mulvey received instruction about nuclear theory, chemistry, physics, reactor operations, safety and security. Upon completion of the course, he qualified as a naval nuclear operator. A 2002 graduate of Monroe-Woodbury High School of Central Valley, Mulvey joined the navy in December 2003.
