Overnight parking ban begins Nov. 1 in Village of Monroe

Monroe - Monroe Police issued a reminder this week that effective Monday, Nov. 1, there is no overnight parking on any street in the Village of Monroe. The ban, which runs from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., lasts until April 1. This is in effect to allow the highway department to easily clear snow from the streets in the event of a snowstorm. However, it remains in effect regardless if it is snowing or not, police said.
