Orange Regional names new VP
Middletown Orange Regional Medical Center has named Rosemary Baczewski as the new vice president of quality. In this role, Baczewski is responsible for the overall direction of quality management, performance improvement and patient advocacy. She is also responsible for ensuring compliance with The Joint Commission standards, Institute for Healthcare Improvement and National Quality Forum initiatives. Baczewski has an extensive background in process improvement and has been a leader in both the healthcare field as well as within the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Orange Regional, she served as the senior director of the RN Labor Management Initiative with the League of Voluntary Hospitals and Homes/1199 SEIU Training and Education Fund. She also served as director of process management for Horizon BlueCross/BlueShield of New Jersey, executive/managing consultant for Johnson and Johnson Health Care Systems and as a consulting director for McFaul and Lyons. Baczewski has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Columbia University and a master’s in communication from William Paterson University.
