    Tuxedo Town Police investigate burglary in Eagle Valley section of town Tuxedo - The Town of Tuxedo Police are investigating a burglary that took place Friday, Oct. 1, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The burglary occurred in the Eagle Valley section of Tuxedo at the Woodlands, a residential area. The burglar (or burglars) entered the home by breaking into the rear of the residence; valuables and electronics were taken. The Orange County Sheriffs Office and the Tuxedo Police, whom are following up the investigation, did evidence tech work at the scene. Tuxedo Police are asking that any one whom might have seen any individuals in the area or whom might otherwise have information concerning this investigation to call Tuxedo Police at 845-351-5111 and speak to Detective Christian. Blooming Grove Water Advisory Board meets Oct. 18 Washingtonville - The first meeting of the Blooming Grove Sewer/Water Advisory Board will be held Monday, Oct. 18, at 6 p.m. at Blooming Grove Town Hall. Supervisor Frank Fornario said the group will “focus on assisting and advising town officials in its mission of providing high quality drinking water and sewer services to its district users.” The board will be chaired by Deputy Supervisor Brandon Nielsen; town councilwoman Michele Murphy will be a member along with citizens from the various water/sewer districts, the town comptroller and water/sewer operators. All meetings will be open to the public and further information will be made available on the town Web site.
