MSMC offers defensive driving course

NEWBURGH — The Center for Community and Educational Services at Mount Saint Mary College will offer a defensive driving course over two Wednesday evenings on Feb. 8 and 15. The six hour course will be presented in two three hour sessions, from 6:15 to 9:15 p.m., in Hudson Hall Room 003. The course is certified by the National Safety Council. Participants are eligible for a 10 percent discount on collision and liability insurance for three years. The course can also take four points off a driver’s license, covering the past 18 months. The $40 fee, payable by cash or check, is due at the first meeting. Participants are asked to bring pen and paper. The center also offers driver education and pre-licensing courses.
