More commentary on the Monroe GOP primary
To the editor: When you print the final results of the Republican Primary, maybe you can show each district's results. Don Weeks and Peter Martin didn't win a single district, not even their own. Mr. Martin only received six votes in his district and three were probably his family. Mr. Weeks didn't do any better in his district. These two people should be ashamed of themselves, when they lost the vote by almost 80 percent in non-Kiryas Joel districts. Once KJ knew how many people came out to vote, which is just a phone call to the districts, they sent out their results, which "surprisingly" was 600 for Weeks and Martin, and approximately 20 votes for Parrella and Budich. I'm sure if 1,000 voters came out, KJ would have sent out 1,100 votes for the "good old boys." Just beat them by 100 votes; don't make the bloc vote to obvious. Kay O'Dell Monroe
