The Fall Festival at Smith’s Clove Park, sponsored by the Monroe Joint Park Recreation Commission on Oct. 15, was a huge success. The children enjoyed a hayride through the park, snacks, apple cider, games, a magic show and a performance by Macaroni the Clown. The winners of the costume parade are: Matthew Poka, age 3, who was the perfect Barney; Kylie Torres, age 2, who was a cute clown, and Sean Thomas, age 6, who was an authentic-looking Frankenstein’s monster. The winners of the pumpkin-carving contest were the Callopy and Mallory families.
