Monroe-Woodbury inducts 51 students into the National Honor Society

Central Valley - Fourteen members of the Class of 2010 and 37 members of the Class of 2011 joined the 46 current members of the Charles L. Daley Chapter of the National Honor Society at Monroe-Woodbury High School in ceremonies on Dec. 1. In addition to a very rigorous academic standard (scholarship), these students demonstrated they possessed qualities of character, leadership and service. Students who join this prestigious society perform a variety of service activities in the school and in the community, which include tutoring students, fund raising for a variety of charitable organizations and, serving as role models for other students. Congratulations to all our new members.
