Feb. 12 • Pedro Herrera, 20, of Emerald Lane, Monroe, was charged with driving while intoxicated and criminal possession of a forged instrument, misdemeanors. He was released to appear in town court on Feb. 21. Feb. 13 • Jose Salmeron, 30, of Stage Road, Monroe, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal sale of a controlled substance, felonies, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a misdemeanor. He was remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail pending a future court appearance. Feb. 14 • Maria Demis, 46, of Lexington Hills, Harriman, was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor. She was released pending a future court appearance. Feb. 15 • An 18-year-old Monroe male was charged with possession of marijuana, a violation. He was released pending a March 9 court appearance. Harriman Police Feb. 18 • David R. Ellis, 45, of Highview Avenue, Nanuet, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor. He was released to appear in village court on March 15. Town of Tuxedo Police Feb. 19 • Jennifer Mariano, 35, of Ash Court, Tuxedo, was charged with harassment, a violation, on the complaint of Patricia Manning of Shepherd Pond Road, Tuxedo. She was released for a Feb. 23 court appearance.
