March 3 • Jan Misital, 51, of Lake Street, Monroe, was charged with second-degree assault, a felony, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor, and trespassing, a violation. He was sent to Orange County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bail pending a March 7 court appearance. March 4 • Michael Morin, 20, of Windermere Avenue, Greenwood Lake, was charged with false impersonation, a misdemeanor, and having an open container in a public place, a violation. He was released to appear in town court on March 23. • Paul Kelly, 37, of Duelk Avenue, Monroe, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, misdemeanors. He was released pending an April 6 court appearance. • Joanne Schmidt, 41, of David Lane, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, fourth-degree criminal contempt, second-degree menacing, and resisting arrest, misdemeanors. She was sent to Orange County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail pending a future court appearance. • Ignacio Juarez, 21, of Chestnut Circle, Monroe, was charged with second-degree harassment, a misdemeanor. He was released on $100 bail pending a March 23 court appearance. March 5 • A 19-year-old Monroe male was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment, a misdemeanor. He was turned over to Town of Woodbury Police. March 7 • Oswaldo Romero, 21, of Spring Street, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor. He was released pending a future court appearance. March 9 • Jeffrey Wasiluk, 42, of Village Drive, Greenwood Lake, was charged with possession of marijuana, a violation. He was released to appear in town court on April 6.
