Dec. 19 • Damien T. Gavin, 27, of Main Street, Wallkill, was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, petty larceny, and possession of stolen property, misdemeanors, and several traffic violations. He was sent to Orange County Jail pending a future court appearance. • David J. Dunne, 28, of Mountain Lodge Road, Monroe, was charged with second-degree impersonation, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, both misdemeanors, and several vehicle and traffic violations. He was released to appear in town court on Jan. 10. Dec. 24 • Peter E. McNamara, 41, of Spring Street, Monroe, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt in connection with a violation of an order of protection, a felony. He was released to appear in town court on Jan. 3. Dec. 26 • William A. Erickson, 44, of Greening Place, Maybrook, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and several traffic violations. He was released pending a future court appearance. Dec. 28 • Shane M. Soto, 22, of Haines City, Fla., was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, both misdemeanors, and numerous vehicle and traffic violations. He was remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail pending a future court appearance.
