March 17 • Wayne Vespa, 45, of 5 Lue Court, Monroe, was charged with second-degree harassment, a violation, and second-degree criminal trespassing, a misdemeanor. He was released to appear in town court on Mar. 28. March 18 • Peter Breslin, 32, and Edward Breslin, 28, both of Higgins Trail, Monroe, were charged with second-degree gang assault, a felony. They were remanded to Orange County Jail pending a future court appearance. • Joseph Stewart, 26, of Higgins Trail, Monroe, was charged with second-degree gang assault, a felony. There was also a bench warrant against him from the city of Newburgh for seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. He was remanded to Orange County Jail pending a future court appearance. March 19 • William Barrett, 58, of Route 17M, Monroe, was charged with disorderly conduct, a violation. He was released on $60 bail pending a March 30 court appearance. March 21 • Jason C. Beams, 25, of Franklin Avenue, Monroe, was charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He was released pending a future court appearance.
