July 28 A 19-year-old Monroe male was arrested for second-degree rape and second-degree sodomy, felonies. He was remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail pending a July 28 court appearance. David Moroney, 23, of Middletown, was arrested for second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, and two counts of harassment, a violation. He was released to appear in Town Court on Aug. 3. July 29 Richard Munoz, 22, of Monroe, was arrested for second-degree criminal mischief, a felony. He was released pending a future court appearance. July 30 A 19-year-old Monroe male was arrested on a warrant for fourth-degree possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor. He was released to appear in Town Court on Aug. 3. Arthur Halvajian, 24, of Saddle River, N.J., was arrested for driving while intoxicated and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanors. He was released on $200 bail pending a court appearance on Aug. 3. Aug. 3 Mustafa Sat, 38, of Coram, was arrested for two counts of first-degree identity theft, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, felonies, and two counts of petit larceny, a misdemeanor. He was remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $7,500 bail pending grand jury action. Marie Mortensen, 43, of Monroe, was arrested for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawfully dealing with fireworks, violations. She was remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $4,500 bail pending an Aug. 11 court appearance. Aug 6 Zev Schwartz, 26, of Monroe, was arrested for reckless driving, a misdemeanor. He was released to appear in Town Court on Aug. 12.
