Monroe needs election inspectors for Nov. 2

    MONROE-The Town of Monroe is looking for three Republicans and three Democrats from among town residents to serve as inspectors on Nov. 2. The town has 31 election districts, each needing two Republican and two Democratic inspectors to oversee the polls. The polls are open this Election Day from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Town Clerk Judith L. Dise said the inspectors are needed from 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The job pays $140. There is a training program scheduled for Oct. 25. If you are interested, contact Dise at 783-1900, ext. 221.
