Monroe Democrats launch new Web site

MONROE-The Monroe Democrats Web site, www.monroenydems.com , is up and ready for visitors. At this easy-to-navigate and frequently updated site, visitors will find information about the qualifications of candidates, including: • Alicia Vaccaro, Democratic candidate for town supervisor. • Audra Schwartz and John Rios, Democratic candidates for town board. The site also includes information on what steps the Democrats say they will take to change town government; a calendar of events; and photos of places of interest in Monroe. Meanwhile, the Monroe Democratic Committee will meet on Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 8 p.m. in the John De Angelis Meeting Hall on Lakes Street in Monroe.
