Metro-North offers off-peak bus shuttles to accommodate track work
New York Buses will replace six weekday off-peak trains starting Monday, Nov. 14, to accommodate track work. This work will be suspended and mid-day train service resumed from Wednesday, Nov. 23, through Sunday, Nov. 27, for the busy Thanksgiving holiday. The rail and tie work - and the busing - will resume on Monday, Nov. 28, for one more week, ending after Friday, Dec. 2. Buses between Port Jervis and Harriman will operate in accordance with the train schedules. The six trains that will have substitute bus service are: 8:18 a.m. departing Hoboken, arriving Port Jervis 10:23 a.m. 9:47 a.m. departing Hoboken, arriving Port Jervis at 12:26 p.m. 1:15 p.m. departing Hoboken, arriving Middletown at 2:58 p.m. 11:30 a.m. departing Port Jervis, arriving Hoboken at 2:05 p.m. 1:27 p.m. departing Port Jervis, arriving Hoboken at 3:46 p.m. 3:22 p.m. departing Middletown, arriving Hoboken at 5:11 p.m.
