M-W School Board meeting re-scheduled for this Monday

Central Valley - The Monroe-Woodbury School Board will meet Monday evening at 7 in the Education Center on Route 32 to review School Superintendent Edward J. Mehrhof’s proposed 2011-12 school budget. The board has been scheduled to meet Wednesday, March 23, but that meeting was cancelled when inclement weather postponed school. The board tried to meet the next evening, but could not garner a quorum of five members on such short notice. The current spending plan is more than $147 million; board members have recommended that costs be held to less than 2 percent,
