M-W schedules fall sports physical On Aug. 17 and 24

Central Valley - Monroe-Woodbury High School Fall Sports Physicals will be conducted in the High School Nurse’s Office on Monday, Aug. 16, between 8 and 11: a.m. and then on Tuesday, Aug. 24, between 8 and 10 a.m., according to information supplied by Athletic Director George St. Lawrence. Students who had a sports physical examination on or after Aug. 1, 2009, will not need another examination, but are required to have a short sports update in order to begin practice. Sports Updates will be conducted on Aug.13, 16, 17, 20, 23, 24 and 30 from 7 to 11:30 a.m. at the High School Nurses’ Office. Varsity and JV Football begins Monday, Aug. 16. All other high school varsity and jayvee fall sports will begin practices on Monday, Aug. 23. Modified “A” Football will begin practices on Thursday, Sept. 2.
