By Claudia Wysocki CENTRAL VALLEY — The Woodbury Common Premium Outlets is proposing to amend its original site plan to include an additional 60,000-square feet of development.

The proposed plans involve the realignment of the existing ring road, a new parking structure, new bus pick-up and drop-off areas, renovation of the facade of the entire development and renovation/development of common areas.

Other proposed plans include renovations to the main tower building, food court, customer service area, visitor area, pedestrian walkways and associated infrastructure improvements.

The Village of Woodbury Planning Board, which is the lead agency for this proposal, has determined the new plans may have adverse environment impact. This means a supplemental environmental impact statement will be required.

The Planning Board will hear comments from the public at a scoping meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodbury Town Hall, on Route 32, Highland Mills.

The scoping session gives the Village of Woodbury the opportunity to identify potentially adverse impacts related to the proposed action that are to be addressed in the supplemental environmental impact statement.
