CENTRAL VALLEY — The third annual Woodbury Spring Cleaning Day, sponsored by the Town of Woodbury, will be held next Saturday, April 28, with all volunteers meeting at Smith Clove Elementary School at 10 a.m.

More than 100 community members came out last year to help keep Woodbury a clean and green town, picking up more than twenty cubic yards of trash in the process.

All supplies, breakfast, T-shirts and destinations will be distributed at the 10 a.m. meet-up. A barbecue will follow the cleanup back at Smith Clove Elementary School.

“The local businesses always step up and donate the needed financial resources and supplies to make this a success every year - the event couldn’t happen without them and their constant support,” said Woodbury Highway Superintendent Rob Weyant. “We hope that 2012 brings the best turnout yet to keep our town clean and green.”

If anyone has any questions or suggestions for the cleanup, they can e-mail Councilman Skoufis at james@skoufisforwoodbury.com or call Town Hall at 928-7578 ext 3.
