Despite COVID restrictions, the North Main Elementary School Drama Club presented an amazing online musical this year.
“The Show Must Go Online” was written to be rehearsed and performed virtually.
Students recorded their scenes separately, depicting the story of a fictional school drama club who is ready to perform their musical, when it is suddenly canceled.
The characters band together to perform the show online.
North Main students can relate to this story well, since last year’s sudden pandemic closure took place one week before they were scheduled to perform “Alice in Wonderland Jr.”
This year’s show premiered on Monroe-Woodbury’s YouTube channel on May 1st, but can be seen online anytime.
