This holiday season the Village of Harriman will be collecting new hand gloves for children and adults in the community who are less fortunate.
Mayor Stephen Welle asked that all donations be brought to the Village of Harriman, 12 Church St., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or at the Harriman Police Department, One Maple Ave., Harriman.
The mayor also asked that donations be brought before Monday, Dec. 9.
"We will be working with a local group," Welle said, "to ensure the items get to the people who need them most."
