Two Monroe-Woodbury musicians perform at All-State Conference

CENTRAL VALLEY — Monroe-Woodbury students Angela Prictoe (Trombone) and Tyler Shacher (Tenor I) recently performed at The 2016 New York State School Music Association All-State Conference held in Rochester.
These students were selected, as compared to the top juniors or seniors across New York State, based on their performance of a level VI solo (the most difficult level) at NYSSMA solo festival last year.
Four other Monroe-Woodbury students were recognized as alternates for the conference:
• Kristina Boylan, Violin
• Rocky Nardone, Bass II
• Tyler Shacher, Mallets
• Keianna Wen, Horn
Congratulations to these accomplished musicians and their teachers: David Crone, Bonnie Glazier and Richard Regan.
