Terpsichore introduces 2015-2016 dance company groups

MONROE — Five groups of students from Terpsichore the Dancerschool in Monroe have been named to the school's company teams for the 2015-2016 school year.

Girls were selected following an audition process to become a Terpsichore company dancer.

• Named to Senior Company are: Megan Casey, Lily Cohen, Danielle Fischbein, Morgan Gray, Juliet Hennessy, Caleigh Ingram, Maura Lennon, Rebecca Littman, Alexis Newman, Marissa Reuter, Adelia Salerno, Kaylee Sperling and Kelly Teel.

• Selected for Junior Company A are: Emma Katzman, Erin McLoughlin, Carleigh Newman, Emma Scerbo, Lily Schoenherr and Jenna Sommerlad.

• Named to Junior Company B are: Abby Auty, Kerry Behringer, Sofia Bevacqua, Nora Gmelch, Annabelle Hairston, Meghan Jezik, Olivia Lottito, Bridget Quiroga, Emily Rita, Isabella Tondo and Madison Vassallo.

• Selected for Pre-Company are: Sydni Belnick, Ella Katzman, Grace McCleary and Ava Simone.

• New this year is the school's first ever Hip Hop Company. Members are: Sydni Belnick, Sofia Bevacqua, Adrianna Lulgijuraj, Grace McCleary, Yasmine Peralta, Julia Pierce, Bridget Quiroga, Emily Rita, Alexa Roman, Kourtney Schaffer and Madison Travaglione.

"All of our dancers are working hard preparing for competition,"said Lori Glick, school director. "We are all excited to see them perform in February and are looking forward to a fun and successful weekend."
