Seminar will explain 2017 federal tax law to advisors

Montgomery — The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan’s Professional Advisors Council will host a seminar and networking event for professional advisors from 4:30 until 7:30 p.m., on Wednesday, May 23, in the William J. Larkin Conference Room in the Montgomery Business Center at 30 Scott’s Corners Drive, Montgomery.
The seminar, titled “What the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 Means to You and Your Clients,” is geared towards accountants, attorneys, financial advisors and insurance representatives.
It will be presented by John Rosenberger, CPA, CGMA Tax Partner, Goldstein Karlewicz and Goldstein, LLP.
The seminar offers two Continuing Legal Education or continuing professional education credits for attorneys and accountants and will teach participants about the recent tax law changes and how they will affect their clients.
This program is appropriate for both experienced and newly admitted attorneys.

The cost is $35 for members of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and $40 for nonmembers.
