Schools are closed Monday in observance of Columbus Day

CENTRAL VALLEY — The following is a list of upcoming event, programs and scheduling within the Monroe-Woodbury School District:
• Schools will be closed Monday, Oct. 9, in observance of Columbus Day.
• Central Valley PTA will meet Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m.
• The Board of Education will meet on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at the Education Center at 6 p.m.
• Sapphire PTA will meet Thursday, Oct. 12, at 7 p.m.
