MONROE — The Pallottine Family here in Monroe – or the Union of Catholic Apostolate (UAC) – consists of nuns and laity whose purpose is to respond to God’s love and to reach out to others. The combination of love of God and service to others is central to those associated with the Pallottine Sisters.
This year, around the birthday of St. Vincent Pallotti, founder of the UAC, members of Queen of Apostles Cenacle and of the Bible Sharing group collaborated to collect food and clothing for My Father’s Kitchen and Our Mother’s Cupboard of Sacred Heart Parish in Monroe.
