NEWBURGH — Starting this Friday, April 20, craft beers created at the Newburgh Brewing Company will be available at bars and restaurants throughout the Hudson Valley, the company’s three principals announced this week in a press release.

Four beer styles will initially be available. Known as “session” beers, each style is lower in alcohol by volume, but never lower in flavor and complexity, owners Christopher Basso, Charlie Benedetti and Paul Halayko said in their press release.

In addition to launching the craft beer line, the owners are hosting a grand opening of the brewing operation this week.

At the end of May, the brewery’s taproom opens to the public. The operations are located at 88 So. Colden St. in the City of Newburgh.
