New village board appointment
Woodbury. Monroe-Woodbury teacher Kathleen Mottola was appointed to fill a vacant seat.

Due to Deputy Mayor Vic Ferrarelli’s resignation, Mayor Andrew Giacomazza was tasked with filling his seat on the Village of Woodbury board.
The Mayor chose Monroe-Woodbury teacher Kathleen Mottola to fill the vacated slot.
Mottola was sworn in by Village Clerk Jessica McCelennan in late November.
